My 30 Seconds of Fame

I will have my 30 seconds of fame, soon.

Earlier today, I had a shoot for an interview

with TJ Manotoc for TV Patrol

regarding the Facebook Controversy

which revised its TOS

claiming ownership to all media files and info

uploaded to their side.

Anyway, abangan niyo na lang.

It's supposed to be aired sometime this week.

I will also upload the video

as soon as I get a copy of it.

Hence, my 30 seconds of fame.

For more than a month of delay, I finally went to see an eye doctor today. As in the usual clinic set-up, the doctor was not yet there (you know, doctors don't really stick to their schedules). But that's ok. I was able to buy another Sudoku book in a friendly bookstore fronting the clinic. I got back 30 minutes after I had my name listed, finally the doctor came in. He was an hour and a half late. I was 6th on the list.

After 45 minutes of waiting, I finally got my turn. As it turned out, I'm going to be blind in a couple of months. Goodbye everyone. Might as well spend as much time awake with all of you. Kidding. I won't be blind. I just had a virus in the eye which caused the redness, frequent itching and sore. And it's not sore eyes. Thus, it's under medication for a week--patak dito at patak doon 3 times a day for a week. I have yet to see the doctor again in a week. And no contacts lenses for me too (until the doctor says so). So I'll be in nerd mode again for a week!

That's an update a lot of people have been eagerly waiting for. Thank you for all those concerned. At least it's not something so bad which would warrant me leaving school, right? Whew.

Oh by the way, the doctor will also run tests to me if I'll be a candidate for Lasik. That I am looking forward to.

On Happiness

Finally, something I got and appreciated from Theology of Law. Here's a quote I fell in love with from a reading, which a lot of people took for granted. Again, finally.

Today is a law school free day--ACP (alternative class program) day. I signed up for a make-up class c/o Kris Bacani, who is a professional make-up artist. I was supposed to be with Rina and Lai, but it turned out, they ditched the session for frisbee at the Meralco field. So i ended up with Jamie, Lex, Abbi, and Kaye D.

Today is also Mr. Law School Day. Joey as Mr. Clean didn't bag the title. But that's okay. At least we had a representative!

Today is also another inuman day. After Mr. Law School, we had a "korean" experience at a certain Korean restaurant along P. Burgos. Super spicy, napagod ako.

Yesterday, after class, we ended up drinking the night away in Coco Cabana and transferred to Grilla, where Anika and Melvin were drinking with their friends. I had a glass of Weng Weng and 3 bottles of Red Horse. Goodluck.

...and thus, I wasn't able to post my Day 3 Happy Tags last night.

Today, my mom and Miggy went here in Manila. Wala lang. I think they got bored in Angeles already.

Today, I had a haircut with my mom at Fabio Salsa in Powerplant Mall. I also had my eyebrows threaded (ouch!). I was supposed to have them waxed, but Arlyn wasn't there. So no waxing for me.

Today, we had a free cut for Crim 2 again! Should I be happy or sad about it? We already had a free cut last Sat. Oh Justice Peralta, please come to class already! We know you're busy with the Supreme Court, but please come to class!

I went around Makati to look for PrintWiz to have Joey's Mr. Law School Posters printed. And I got lost, considering that I already have a map on hand. Stupid but fun.
